Welcome to Bristol Only

Bristol is an old city - for more than a thousand years it has been a significant port and various parts of the city still lay claim to this nautical past. But it is now in other areas that Bristol is now the most important city in the South West of England. Being only two hours drive from London, Birmingham and Cardiff - many of the regions offices and government agencies have their base at Bristol and it also houses two Universities and an international airport!

Bristol also has a wide range of bars, clubs, cafes and seedy joints - it is well known for a good night out. Just beyond Bristol is rural idyll - dotted along the severn are a number of charming seaside towns and villages, and just to the south is the lovely climate of the Mendip hills and beyond that the Somerset levels.
