Camping and Caravanning in Bristol

Whilst there are several picturesque campsites in and around Bristol there are fewer options on where to stay than first appears. To begin with many of the sites listed as campsites do not actually allow tents on site so check very carefully before you go. Furthermore some of the other sites do not even allow your own caravans on site. In fact most of the campsites in the area could more accurately be called static caravan parks. There is however a notable exception in the welcoming and picturesque Brook lodge farm campsite. This is set in a more rural area of Bristol and offers guests on site entertainment and facilities including a swimming pool and cycle hire. Most of the sites that do allow your own caravan are well maintained with good facilities and easy access to the city itself.
